Conway's Game of Life — three simple rules give birth to evolving patterns.

1. Birth. A dead cell with exactly 3 live neighbours becomes alive.
2. Survival. A live cell with 2 or 3 live neighbours keeps living.
3. Death. Any other live cell dies — too lonely or too crowded.
